Debra Atlas
An environmental journalist, author, professional speaker, blogger and workshop leader, Debra is a recognized thought leader. Her programs and writing projects focus on everything from outside-the-box, innovative solutions for current environmental issues to mental health issues and how to step back from depression’s edge.
An expert communicator, she was a radio personality with a weekly radio feature that ran for almost 2 years.

Debra is an expert in what it takes to live with depression and have a balanced life. Her book You Aren’t Depression’s Victim details strategies and empowering possibilities that enable you to recognize depression before it hits and step back from its dark edge. Her interactive workshop “Step Back From the Edge” encompasses material from her book. This program can be customized per request to fit any group or organization and can be delivered in-person as a half or full day program or as a webinar via Zoom.
Debra speaks with passion and insight on what it takes to live with depression and not be its victim. She is available to speak to groups, organizations and conferences in person or via Zoom.
